Third - Fourth Grade: Flora
Ages 8-9
Flourish Children’s School program for children ages 8 & 9 years old is called Flora. This 3rd and 4th grade classroom was developed for families who would like a customized education that meets upper elementary standards but allows for one on one attention and plenty of opportunities to explore individual interests. Flora has an emphasis on artistry, creativity and nature which is incorporated in their daily learning.
Our 3rd & 4th grade program includes:
Focused instruction, allowing for shorter and more effective lessons and more independent work periods
Dual Language Immersion is a way to learn academic content while acquiring another language at the same time. Students receive language arts, math, science, and social studies instruction in the target language, either Spanish or English.
Themed Science unit studies that bring the subject to life using students natural interests and local environment
Faith focused lessons that integrate bible studies, worship songs & prayer
Math lessons that contain fun games and activities, the highest academic standards, diversity, and connected learning. Each unit also explores two different geographical locations, immersing children in the culture of different areas as they learn related math concepts.
Beautiful integration of the arts; encouraging a love of poetry, nature, high character, and wholesome, powerful literature
Faith-based, non-denominational Christian approach; focused on very basic Biblical principles such as kindness and honesty
