Kindergarten: Blossoms
Ages 5 – 6
Flourish Children’s School provides a Kindergarten program called Blossoms, for children between 5 and 6 years old. The Kinder classroom was developed for families who would like a customized education that meets early elementary standards with individualized attention and one on one instruction. Blossoms has an emphasis on artistry and creativity which is incorporated in their daily learning.
Our Kinder program includes:
Faith focused lessons that integrate bible studies, worship songs and prayer.
A mixed age group taught by level aimed to achieve reading fluency regardless of grade or native language
Dedicated time for Arts (Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, Movement) and nature exploration
Christ-centered character building nurtured by biblical teachings
50/50 dual language curriculum blending all core subjects including language arts, math, social studies and science
Continued study of phonological and phonemic awareness using the structured literacy approach in both Spanish & English
Age appropriate themes (Burrows and Holes, At the Pond, Ice & Snow, On the Savanna) that are curiosity driven and encourage collaborative learning
